Captain America Hat


And it's Captain America!


Hook: H/8 (5 mm)
Yarn: Medium worsted in white, red, and blue

With blue ch 2.
Rnd 1= 6 sc in second ch from hook.
Rnd 2= Ch 2, 3 dc in each dc around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Rnd 3= Ch 2, (3 dc in next dc, dc) around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Rnd 4= Ch 2, (3 dc in next dc, 2 dc) around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Switch to white.
Rnd 5= Ch 2, (3 dc in next dc, 6 dc) around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Rnd 6= Ch 2, (2 dc in next dc, 8 dc) around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
*You may need to tweak this depending on the tension of your stitches.
Switch to red.
Rnd 7= Ch 2, dc around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Switch to white.
Rnd 8-9= Ch 2, dc around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Switch to red.
Rnd 10= Ch 2, dc around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Switch to white.
Rnd 11-12= Ch 2, dc around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Switch to blue.
Rnd 13-15= Ch 2, dc around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Switch to red.
Rnd 16= Ch 2, dc around. Sl st in top of ch 2.
Fasten off, weave in ends.

Make star and sew to top of hat.

I used the star pattern by lydienne on Ravelry. If you don't have a Ravelry account I highly reccommend getting one. It is free to sign up and the patterns and ideas are amazing. :) But anyway, that is the star pattern I used. You can find another one if you wish.
