Mane:
Cut several 6 inch lengths of color B.
Each piece of yarn will act as 2 strands of hair. I used two stands of yarn held together for each stitch in order to make the mane look fuller.
Insert hook into horses head. Grab middle of yard strand with hook and pull through stitch, making a small loop. Pull both free ends of yarn strand through loop, pulling tight to secure hair.
Continue down the horses neck.

Ears (2):
With color A, ch 2.
Row 1= 2 sc in second ch from hook. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2= Sc twice in each sc.
Fasten off, leaving a tail long enough to sew ears to head. Sew ears to head.

3 sc, 2 sl st. Ch 1.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Weave tail through stitches to the bottom of the horn and sew to the head.

Stuff body.
Rnd 17= Sctog around. (6)
Fasten off. Sew hole shut. Sew to bottom of neck, stuffing the neck before completing the seam.

Rnd 1= 7 sc in second ch from hook. Sl st in first sc. ch 1, turn. (7)
Rnd 2-3= Sc around. Sl st in first sc. ch 1, turn. (7)
Fasten off. With color A, join with a sc in first sc.
Rnd 4-9= Sc around. Sl st in first sc. ch 1, turn. (7)
Fasten off, leaving a tail long enough to sew legs to body. Sew onto body.

Tail:
Cut four 10 inch strands out of color B. Attach to body the same way you did the mane. (It may be easier if you use a larger hook for this.)
