Lace Wristlet

ANOTHER PATTERN!!!  I like to crochet... a lot. And I don't always have a pattern available so I have to make my own. Someone has to make them anyway, right? So.... without further ado, my lace wristlet pattern. Perfect for a gift for your unique or goth-like friend or for yourself. (they also can be sewn onto the cuff of a sleeve to make a pretty lace accent)

lace wristlets.
size 10 thread. hook size 5

do not turn unless specified.
Picot= sc in st, ch 3, sc in same st, ch 5, sc in same st, ch 3, sc in same st

ch 60. join into a ring with sl st
rnd. 1= ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc in each stitch around. sl st in top of ch 3 [60 dc]
rnd. 2= ch 3, sk 2 dc, 5 dc in next dc, (sk 2 dc, dc in next dc, sk 2 dc, 5 dc in next dc) repeat around. sl st in top of ch 3
rnd. 3= ch 3, (sk 2d, 5dc in next dc, sk dc, trbp over next dc, sk 2dc) repeat around. sl st in top of ch 3
rnd. 4-5= repeat round 3, except trbp over trbp
rnd 6= ch 6, (sk 2 dc, 3 tr in next dc, ch 3, picot in trbp, ch 3) repeat around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch 6
rnd 7= sl st to second tr, (picot in second tr, ch 9, sk stitches to next tr cluster, picot in second tr.) repeat around, ending with sl st in bottom of ch in first picot.
rnd 8= (ch 7, sc in next ch 3, ch 11, sc in next ch 3) repeat around, sc in last ch 3 sp
rnd 9= (ch 11, 3 dc in ch 7) repeat around, ending with sl st in first ch of ch 11. turn
rnd 10= ch 3, dc in first dc, ch 1, tr in next dc, ch 1, 2 dc in next dc. (ch 11, 2 dc in next dc, ch 1, tr in dc, ch 1, 2 dc in dc) repeat around, ending with sl st in top of ch 3

Bouquet Covers

Another crochet pattern!! Again, I haven't had anyone test it... so.... no promises that anyone besides me can understand it. But I made these for my wedding to dress up the bridesmaid's bouquets. It took about a day for each one. So here is the pattern!

size 3 thread
hook size-D

(note: Do not turn unless specified)

 rnd 1= 6 sc in second ch from hook
rnd 2= 2 sc in each sc around (12sc)
rnd 3= 2c in each sc till last sc, 3 sc in last sc (25 sc)
rnd 4= sc in blo of each sc around . ch 1, turn (25 sc)
rnd 5= sk 3 sc, *5 dc in next sc, sk 2 sc, sc in next sc, sk 2 sc* repeat from * to * ending with sl st in first dc. ch 3, turn
rnd 6= 2 dc in sl st, * sk 2 dc, sc in next dc, sk 2 dcs, 5 dc in sc* repeat from * to * ending with 2 dc in sl st. sl st in ch 3. ch 1, turn

Lydia's Hat

     I made this hat for my niece Lydia. I tried to use a pattern but couldn't find one that I liked that was the right size so I decided to make my own pattern. I haven't had anyone test it for me so I don't know how well I did, but here it is. :) If anyone finds any mistakes please tell me.

     Hook: size I/9
     Yarn: Medium worsted

ch 2
rnd 1= 6sc in second ch from hook, sl st in first sc to join
rnd 2= ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, 3 dc in each sc around, join with sl st in third ch of ch3 [18 dc]
rnd 3= ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, *dc in next dc, 3 dc in next dc* repeat from * to * around. join with sl st in top of ch 3. [38 dc]
rnd 4= ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, *dc in next 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc* repeat from * to * around. join with sl st in top of ch 3. [58 dc]
rnd 5= ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, *dc in next 5 dc, 3 dc in next dc* repeat from * to * around. join with sl st in top of ch 3. [77 dc]

arrange petals in a ring

rnd 2= working in free loops of foundation ch, *sc in first ch, dc in next ch, (htr, tr) in next ch, htr in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, 3 sc in ch sp at tip of petal; [working down the other side of the petal] sc in next sc, hdc in next st, dc in next st, htr in next st, (tr, htr) in next st, dc in next st, sc in next st, sl st in next petal separator, repeat from * 2 times. join with sl st in first sc. fasten off, leaving long tail for sewing.

sew flower to hat and sew a large button in the center of the flower.
